O knihe

Religion is an important part of the society and religious organisations are usually tasked with the duty of inculcating morals to the people in its society, upholding them and passing them down to various generations. In case of conflict, the church community is usually looked up to as the voice of reason and plays a key role in reconciliation and integration. The modern technology has seen television, radio and Internet used as a medium of reaching many people and achieving these religious roles. We do not know much about how the church utilizes ICTs and the opportunities that are available to develop and improve technology for these consecrated places. ICT environment is dynamic and turbulent with constant and fast-paced changes. Literature review has shown that adequate research on the uptake and use of ICTs in churches has not been done. The study assessed how Christ Is The Answer Ministries (CITAM) as an organization based in Kenya, utilizes ICTs to achieve its goals. This book examines how the church is coping with the cutting-edge technology for evangelism. It explores how ICTs have contributed immensely in breaking barriers of access to excluded segments in society.
