Article 19 of the directive (EU) 2019/1023 contains provisions on the directors' duties when there is a likelihood of insolvency. This doctoral thesis examines to what extent directors' duties in pre-insolvency situation will change as a result of the implementation of Art. 19 RRiL and whether the existing provisions in German law are sufficient for the implementation.
