O knihe

The development of the West and the Third World requires the use of the law of "cause and effect". Warned from the very beginning, the West has been active in scientific research, which is part of the object of its development. The Third World countries, having lagged behind for several decades, need scientific research that will enable them to know their own environment: physical, biological, human; their wealth (potentialities, opportunities) and weaknesses (needs, shortcomings, threats); to learn how to make the most of what they have and what they are; to acquire, develop, and why not invent technologies that are in harmony with the culture of the local populations; and to take part in the worldwide exchange of knowledge that they need for their own development. The mission of this Introduction to Scientific Research and Writing course is to equip the learner with the necessary skills in identifying a problem and choosing a research topic, collecting data, organizing the data and information collected, writing a research report, presenting the scientific work to the public, and the ethics and deontology of research.
