O knihe

Richard Newport is ignorant, too much in fact. He soon comes to realise this as he walks home from the shops. He's being watched, and before he has chance to react he is seized by a band of merciless shadows. Kidnapped.

Nothing arises as people try to find him, the hunt continues as he wakes to find his world turned upsidedown. He awakes to find an aging man of presumable power leering over him, about to tell him about his job, with a group of individuals liable to rip him apart.

It seems like a joke, but it isn't. His order is to steal things, but as days pass by he realises this is no easy stroll. The items are increasing in value, and so is the risk threatening to bring with it a multitude of surprises.

Then again, perhaps he can do this. After all, with the help of Elise Ornaze, the beautiful woman he's assigned to live with, it seems like anything is possible. As he bustles through each game with this woman, and a growing troupe of volatile individuals it seems he might just get away clean, all the time unaware he is rushing precariously towards a fall.

The surprises are mounting and with it comes distrust, surely he needs to figure this thing out - but as everything comes together, a new surprise emerges, something Richard could never have planned for, something that will change everything.

Kleptomania is a blistering new thriller. A tall tale bristled with undertones of drama, romance, mild horror and some humour. An unrelenting torrent of surprise that is bound to leave you reeling as you try to recapture your stolen breath.
