This book examines the every-day activities and interactions of a bilingual Arabic-Hebrew kindergarten in Jerusalem. Its focus is on the encounter of the two languages, which in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict reveal boundaries of ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds.
