Ecological literature is conceived as an experience of representation of the ecological world in the literary world. It clearly establishes a relationship of continuity between the imaginary and the physical reality of ecology. It envisages the processes of communication in all strata of life and, on this basis, it builds an ecological conception of narrative discourse in its capacity to describe precisely the relationships that occur between, on the one hand, the elements perceived in a given natural environment and, on the other, the interpretation that is offered through literary expression.
