This book covers the main intoxications by toxic plants in Cuba, so it generates information of great scientific value about the conduct to follow in case of intoxication. This implies a considerable positive impact in the follow-up of the intoxicated patient, which will allow orienting undergraduate and graduate students, as well as health personnel who face this type of intoxication. The development of the skills and implicit information in this book contributes to the improvement in the execution of treatment protocols and behaviors to follow established for intoxicated patients; in addition to improving the investigative capacity of the personnel involved.
