With the reforms that have taken place in Brazilian education, especially since the 1990s, the discussion about the inclusion of media in education, as an important element for improving the quality of teaching, is present in the initiatives of the various spheres of public power. However, what we have realised is that there are still many barriers to making this discussion a reality.
