The pollution is an ecological problem, with public health implications. This fact is often characterized, particularly in Africa. That is why this work was realized after a scientific prospecting in periurban of Abidjan, which enjoys of an increasing industrialization with a development of a subsistence farming. The levels of toxicity of lead and cadmium were particularly described in mass consumer vegetables in connection with the contents of the copper ground, the zinc and the iron.
