Software Defined Network, or software-configured networks, is a new approach to computer network management, the main idea of which is to separate the functions of management and data transmission. This is one of those technologies that can significantly change the state of the IT industry and move from their leading positions such vendors as Cisco, Brocade, HP, IBM. Analysts note that SDN is capable of becoming a startup machine in the field of networking technologies, which have seen "Internet ossification". The active emergence of startups in the SDN field is spurred in part by the rapid growth of venture capital investment.
