This book presents an investigation of mothers' decision-making about their careers. Decision-making was found to be complex and recurring. A matrix was developed that includes four perspectives (personal, familial, workplace, and societal) and six factors (expectation and responsibility, support, motivation, flexibility, conflict, and life balance) that influence decision-making.
