O knihe

The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between motivation and the quality of work life in the health care staff of the Hugo Pesce Pescetto Hospital. The study design was non-experimental, with a quantitative approach and correlational level, the study population was 440 health care workers, selecting a sample of 206 by stratified random probability sampling. The instruments used were: to measure work motivation, the scale based on the self-determination theory of Lohmann et al. (2017), which measures the composition of motivation in health personnel, and to measure quality of work life, the CVL-HP scale of Hernández-Vicente et al. (2017) was used. The results obtained indicate that the health care personnel have a high level of work motivation (87%), with intrinsic and extrinsic motivation at 88% and 85% respectively. On the other hand, the quality of work life was predominantly regular (82%) and only 17% was good.
