This book deals with some of the current problems in nuclear structure and reaction physics. It emphasizes the recent developments on various nuclear cross-section measurements for exploring unstable nuclei using both non-relativistic Skyrme-Hartree-Fock and relativistic mean field theories in conjunction with Glauber model. The diverse properties of nuclei in normal as well as exotic situations are taken into account for discussions.
