The issuing by Ministry of Education of Malaysia of a Concept Request for Proposals for its Smart School Flagship Application using information technology in July 1997 proves that Malaysia is trying to integrate computer technology-based lessons in the education system. It is high time for the students to be exposed to online learning using IT, so that they will be more proactive, analytical and creative.
