Effective and efficient maintenance planning is essential and important in any organization that is responsible for managing complex assets as well as logistics/procurement. For the Namibian Navy maintenance planning is very vital due to its complexity and the obligations on the Navy's role to keep its machinery ready and effective as well as to comply with certain International regulations and requirements.
