O knihe
All helminthes parasites found in marine fish and apparently healthy fish often carry heavy parasite burdens. Mostly we do not pay attention to parasitic diseases inspite of the fact that parasites have adverse effects on the growth and survival of fish specially if they infecting the vital organs or if present in large numbers in young fish. Study of the fish diseases are very important aspect because it has an indirect or direct effect on the productivity of fish and subsequently on human health. Fish diseases and parasitic infections is a problem of public health importance, therefore, this should be investigated and information must be made available. It is an established fact that parasitic helminths can produce gastrointestinal lesions causing gastric trouble in human. Lesions produced in human, specially by flukes nematode larvae are similar to those present in the fish. a study of the damage caused by these flukes and other helminth parasites in various organs of fish will provide awareness of the possible damage caused in humans. This study will be of value to courses of fish pathology BS classes in various Universities including the Karachi University.
