This book is meant to provide instrumental pedagogical practices and skills for effective service delivery in mathematics. The methods herein are believed to effective and efficiency in Albertine Sub-Region, Great Lakes Region of East Africa. The study was guided by three objectives: (i)To examine the hand on pedagogy in mathematics and efficiency in STEM Programme during Covid 19 period.(ii)To analyses the influence of teachers¿ pedagogical competence to students ¿comprehension of learnt concepts during Covid 19 period. (iii)To analyse influence of hands on pedagogy in Mathematics and students learning of problem solving during the Covid19 period in Albertine region. The study adopted mixed methods that enabled quantitative and qualitative data collection. A case study designed was used to enable deeper and ultimate understanding of the study variables. It also used positivist paradigm directed by Dewey, Piaget, and Vygotsky¿ constructivism theories. A sample of 200 were scientifically, purposively and simple random. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS and content data analysis. The study findings indicated a significant positive influence of hands on pedagogy to students.
