O knihe
The ancestors of modern Indians moved to America from East Asia. On the basis of archaeological materials, especially recent finds on the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains and the western prairies, it is proved that the settlement of America took place already in the postglacial period, at the stage of the late Paleolithic or even Mesolithic (15-10 thousand years ago), that it occurred in several waves separated from each other by a significant time. Ways of settlement were the Bering Strait and Alaska. In excavations, along with the bones of extinct animals found ancient stone tools, based on which it was found that the first aliens were hunting and fishing, had stone axes, bow and arrows, wicker nets, leather clothing and a domesticated dog, pottery. On this basis, various cultures later developed in different parts of America. Settling on the vast continent, the Indians split into several anthropological types. But the differences between these types are so insignificant that their belonging to the same root is indisputable.
