O knihe

Plants are a rich source of a wide range of medications, including antispasmodics, emetics, anti-cancer, anti-microbial, and so on. Bougainvillea was named after Louis de Bougainville, a global traveller who discovered it in Brazil in the eighteenth century and brought it to Europe, where it became well-known for its adaptability, extravagance, and ability to thrive in polluted natural settings. The purpose of this work was to standardize the entire Bougainvillea glabra plant by examining several criteria. Standard approaches have been used for phytochemical screening. A preliminary phytochemical screening was conducted for many extracts of Bougainvillea Glabra in order to identify several phytochemicals such as carbohysterics, proteins, amino acids, steroids, tannins, flavonoids, alkaloids and glycosides. The Bougainvillea Glabra plant extracts have been contained as revealed in phytochemical and TLC chloroform, ethylacetate and methanol extracts. Research findings also indicate that the plant leaves of Bougainvillea glabra can be used to heal various conditions, such as cancer, cardiac disease and others.
