Sugar production is a seasonal operation in India. As much pure water used in all operation generates equal amount of polluted water. These contaminations are measured in characterization stage which were performed according to AWWA, APHA, and are also trying to minimize by various physico-chemical treatments like coagulation, flocculation and precipitation. Aluminum and iron salts, lime and soda lime were studied with respect to control inorganic as well as organic impurities of sugar industry waste water.
