A weed Flora was carried out during Kharif season in unmanaged cultivated groundnut fields of Andhra Pradesh. Random quadrats were taken and weed population was calculated. In this survey 31 common weeds were noticed. Phytosociology is the combination of plants that grow uniformly together. It explains, history, classification distribution, and ecology and structure of weeds. In addition to that, detailed data of weeds also explained. Awareness of weed frequency, dominance, abundance is necessary to raise grain production. Phytosociology of weeds in unmanaged groundnut fields of Andhra Pradesh showed the dominance of weeds. It creates direct economic loss to the farmers. This study emphasizes that weeds are responsible for the reduction of crop yields.
