To speak today of lifestyles is to refer to the set of activities that a person, people, social group and family perform daily or with a certain frequency; everything depends on their knowledge, needs, economic possibilities, among other aspects.Lifestyle can be shaped by behaviors that lead to health. These are continuously subjected to interpretation and testing in different situations and social contexts, and are therefore not fixed, but subject to change. Lifestyles, characterized by identifiable patterns of behavior, can have a profound effect on the health of the individual and others. If health is to be improved by enabling individuals to change their lifestyles, action must be directed not only at the individual, but also at the social conditions of life that interact to produce and maintain these behavioral patterns.
