O knihe

The domestic exploitation of the labor force of children aged 5-14 exists in Cameroon, in defiance of all national and international texts that the country has adopted and ratified. It prevents the child from going to school, even though this age group marks compulsory schooling. And thus it affects the development of the child. The present book tries to bring its contribution to this thorny problem. Despite the legal norms and strategies put in place to protect children, the fact remains that in a socio-economic and political context such as that of Cameroon, it is necessary to reconsolidate the protection of children. The main lesson to be learned from this study is that making the elimination of domestic labor exploitation of children ages 5-14 a top priority is the best approach to solving this scourge.
