Investigación Cualitativa en Salud IV, is the fourth volume that deals with health issues, in this case, it addresses the issue of food in community kitchens in Mexico through social programs of food support approached from the perspective of the Sociology of Health through socio-critical theory. This volume addresses issues from the perspective of nutrition and health public policies, from food support, the right to food, food policies, social programs, nutritional health repercussions and the social reality of community kitchens through its analysis with a diners' (users') perspective. The socio-critical theory, among other things, helps to better understand the phenomenon that community kitchens generate in vulnerable populations, how their implementation and response is developed by the collective, having a great acceptance in the populations when they fall in the weak points and allow the support of the usual deficiencies: economy, food, diet, human rights and public policy in health.
