Thanks to the globalization of world economy, English language, as a universal language, becomes more and more significant. Meanwhile, social requirements for all-around English communicative talents are more likely to rely on college English teaching and test system. Thus New-CET4 has been given birth to play a central role in measuring and improving the mass non-English-major college students' English level in China. Compared with the old CET4, the current New-CET4 listening test does not take learn-to-communicate into full concern, which is why I decided to explore effective and necessary reforms on New-CET4 listening test and teaching in this book.
