The simple time independent logic circuits that are implemented using logic gates whose output value depends only on the input logic values can be called as combinational logic circuits. Unlike synchronous sequential circuits, in combinational circuit, the output changes occur in direct response to the change in input signal. As soon as inputs are changed, the information about the previous inputs is lost, that means combinational logic circuits don't have any memory.
