Wendy Saphin is an award-winning artist and writer who resides in the Bass Coast area of Victoria, Australia. For many years she worked as an artist-in-residence at a Melbourne primary school, where the creativity and imagination of her students always inspired her. She now works as a Penguin Ranger at the world famous Penguin Parade on Phillip Island off the coast of Victoria. Wendy exhibits and sells her artwork locally. This book is based on a true story. Her next children's book is about a little penguin.
