Selected Lectures on Genetics is a compilation of topics for under- and postgraduate studies in biological sciences, Zoology in particular. Part 1 of the book is intended for the undergraduates (BSc Hons), major in Zoology. It covers such introductory lessons as Mendelism, simple Mendelian traits, linkage, crossing-over, multiple and pseudoalleles, sex-linked inheritance, sex determination and differentiation, dosage compensation, mutations, cytoplasmic inheritance, population genetics and animal breeding principles.
