Special Topics in Agronomy

AGRO has considerable relevance in Brazil's Gross Domestic Product, being one of the main forces in global Agribusiness. Among the reasons for this success is the evolution, the improvement of agricultural techniques, scientific research from research centers and public universities, and the efforts of our rural population. In view of this, I decided to convert a considerable part of the class notes from the Agronomy undergraduate course (UEL) and the Master in Conservation Agriculture into a single volume, addressing topics considered extracurricular in most Agronomy curricula. The SPECIAL TOPICS IN AGRONOMY covers topics relevant to modern Brazilian agriculture, such as soil organic matter (SOM) management and its implications on conservation agriculture; Fertilization Systems in the Midwest; Conservation Practices in the Watersheds of Paraná; and the ILPF Project - Integrated Crop-Livestock-Forestry.A single, complete volume of high-level content, entirely supported by scientific literature - theses/dissertations, articles published in national and international journals as well as abstracts of scientific congresses.
