O knihe
Throughout history, Mexico has signed several international agreements with the United States, including the Treaties of Guadalupe (1848) in which Mexico ceded more than half of its territory, as well as the McLane-Ocampo Treaties (1859) through which Mexico ceded territorial, commercial and military sovereignty to the Colossus of the North. The Bucareli Treaties, signed by the then President of Mexico in 1923, represent an attack on the national interest by renouncing any kind of technological and scientific development. There are those who claim that such treaties do not exist. However, there are many comments about the fact that in these treaties the Mexican government accepted the non-industrialization in areas such as petroleum, electricity, aviation and the military. The Bucareli Treaties have been contrasted with the Versailles Treaties imposed on Germany after World War I. The reality is that to date (2021) Mexico has not industrialized, which proves their validity.
