The approach of practicing philosophy for children is a way to fight against violence, but we must admit that conflicts arise daily in all societies with diverse forms and reasons. Conflicts are linked to human existence and it is necessary to train young children to better analyze and manage them when potential conflicts arise. This is why the contribution of the approach of practicing philosophy for children to the construction of citizenship in Burkina Faso through discussions with a philosophical aim and storytelling as educational supports could be decisive in building a society of peace and progress. It should be noted that the construction of philosophical argumentation in children through storytelling is only one of the possibilities that the philosophy for children approach uses. There are other formulas such as philosophical workshops based on texts, philosophical cafés, or philosophical dinners. All these formulas contribute to the moral formation of children in the group, to make them free and autonomous citizens.
