O knihe
The book comes from an honest desire by the writer to redirect the attention of Bible readers and to help them understand the deity of the Holy Spirit. He does not physically look like a dove. The evangelists depicted the manner or mode of descent of the Holy Spirit, describing that mode of descent as that of a dove and not that the Holy Spirit embodied a dove. The writer therefore discusses the Holy Spirit in the Old and the New Testaments, His deity, presence in the Gospels and His personality. The descent of the Holy Spirit on Jesus at Baptism is also discussed, followed by an exegesis of the episode of His descent in the Gospels. Exegetical deductions and Implications are equally discussed. The Holy Spirit is God and does not look like a dove. When the evangelists said the Holy Spirit came down on Jesus like a dove, they meant He descended in the manner in which a dove descends because, like a dove from the Greek rendering, as you will see in the book, is an adverbial construction and not an adjectival construction. He descended in the same manner a dove descends.
