O knihe
Its my pleasure to write about the book entitled: Environmental Impact Assessment of Population Density. The book reexamines the environmental conditions, which existed during the first quarter of 20Th century of Karachi city (The Capital City of Sindh Province) and compared with current environmental conditions. The book provides valuable information regarding the History, Geography, Geomorphology and Demographic studies of the specific location (The Garden Quarters of Karachi). Once Garden quarters were most serene, peaceful, and lush green quarters with horizontally constructed residential compounds, unfortunately, its aesthetic beauty and multi-ethnic outlook turned into a concrete jungle. The British architects designed this neighborhood for quality housing, with Gothic stony architecture during the British Colonial (Raj) Period through the extension of Bombay Town Planning Act of 1915. Newly created state in 1947 mismanaged and compromised the code of construction and devastated the whole area into the congested neighborhood.
