This paper deals with quality characteristics in forest kindergartens. The aim of this work is to show what is understood by quality specifically in this part of elementary education and how it can be continuously developed. For this purpose, theoretical considerations on forest kindergartens are presented and a qualitative-empirical study is conducted to show whether the forest kindergarten selected in the thesis complies with the quality characteristics. The results obtained largely confirm the question of whether the forest kindergarten studied meets the quality characteristics. This study is of interest to students of education, kindergarten teachers and people working in forest education.
