Brandy, a food delivery driver, is well-acquainted with loss. Her parents are no longer alive, and her daughter is in foster care. Brandy's best friend, Zane, is the only person she has left, so she embraces his dream of buying a home for their children. But, when Brandy stops taking her medication, her behavior leads to her and Zane becoming homeless. Without a place to stay, they have to spend their savings on a motel, delaying their dream of owning a home. To earn back Zane's trust, Brandy creates a scheme to live with her agoraphobic client.
