Together the three must solve the mystery behind the corpse of the Last God that still lies in a devastated quarter of the city known as the Battery. All the while dodging murderous street gangs, unholy terrors, and a violent city police force.
Before long Gideon learns the stakes extend far beyond the environs of Crash City.
