I am sure my birth was uneventful and I could have been born into any other family. My destiny was forged from the moment I took my first breath. My name is Cathy and I love life. The fate that I endured was the fate I had no choice in. Now I have a choice. It is time for the feelings of guilt to stop. The onus must be put back on the perpetrators and not the victims who have suffered in silence and shame. I won my battle. I live my life on my terms and I want others to do the same.
