O knihe

Most maternal and child mortality occur in the soon hours after child birth. Most of these are due to lack of quality care during delivery and early postnatal period. There are recommended postnatal maternal and child survival strategic interventions by the World Health Organization. Ethiopia has also adopted those interventions. However, the continuum of care in this period is neglected in many settings. Thus, it was tried to explore qualitatively the perception and lived experience of skilled attendants on postnatal care service provision in the resource limited setting, Ethiopia. All the findings and methodological approaches are helpful for qualitative methods interested researchers and for public health specialists to understand the lived situation of postnatal care service provision in resource limited settings.
