In this research, it is established that the Mexican poultry industry has its origins in an association that was born in 1958 and was initially formed by associations of poultry farmers from 12 states, Through time it has gradually evolved to become the National Union of Poultry Farmers (UNA) that continues to develop and exploit its great potential and thus become an industry that contributes to the gross domestic product (GDP) of the country, and for being of high protein content, eggs, poultry, as well as its derivatives, became a fundamental part of the Mexican, because it is a very adequate and healthy food.
