Music, writing and philosophy have occupied special places in Jonquille M Berry's life. She started out as a concert pianist, later becoming a church organist and occasional composer.

Jonquille entered the arena of public speaking in 1986 and began writing poetry seriously in 2000. She is also a qualified spiritual healer.
