Section 11 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act 1992, which came into forece from 13.01.1992 states that it shall be the duty of the Board to protect the interest of the investors in securities and promote the development of and to regulate the securities market and financia intermediaries. The case study was conducted to study the SEBI role and its regulations towards to protection of the interest of investors and regulation of FI's.
