O knihe

The present work is an attempt to analyze the social representations that are over-impressed in the Chadian novel. It unveils the apriorist ideas that furnish the social, moral and political universe of Chad, the country of Toumaï, on a daily basis. The reductive social representations densely evoked in Le Souffle de l'harmattan and Al istifakh ou l'idylle de mes amis, by Chadian authors Baba Moustapha and Marie-Christine Koundja respectively, revisit the dynamics of social cohesion and the ideology of living together, cardinal virtues of an ideal society. This set of mostly erroneous thoughts is a challenge held by Chadian writers to launch a call for national unity. Through a stylization effect, these two (2) writers invite the reader to discover self-esteem, the Other, and to overcome differences on all fronts.
