She has worked in investment banking for over 20 years in South Asia, Russia, and the U.K. She advises companies on mergers and acquisitions, financial restructuring, and capital raising. She is an author, with published works and is currently writing her first full novel. She likes to absorb the emotions that people bring with them into her writing in different situations, and seek or show the way forward. She sits on several boards and works with nongovernmental organizations in the U.K. and India that focus on educating underprivileged children and mentoring women in rural areas. She lives in London.
