O knihe
Excerpt from The Boston Journal of Philosophy and the Arts, Vol. 3: Intended to Exhibit a View of the Progress of Discovery in Natural Philosophy, Mechanics, Chemistry, Geology and Mineralogy, Natural History, Comparative Anatomy and Physiology, Geography, Statistics, and the Fine and Useful Arts; Oct. 1825 to Dec. 1826
Tn: present number completes the third volume of this journal, and with it the editors take their leave of the public. From the commencement of their work, the editors have never expected an extensive subscription. The pursuits of this busy and thriving community do not lead it to a very lively interest in the subjects to which this publication has been devoted, and although the sub scription has been suficient to defray the expense of printing, the labour of conducting the work has been without reward.
