In the same way Taplejung is rich in three valuable lakes having different importance.Despite of immense ecological, biological, social, religious, cultural and economic values, the wetlands continued to be degraded, lost and overexploited. They have not received adequate attention they ought to have. So, the aim should be to address these gaps and issues to effect long term changes to the perception, values and understanding so that wetlands receive adequate attention from all.
