A true story.
"Thirteen years ago he held my head under the crystal clear blue water I was scared but I new I had to fight to survive. I never would of realized how this was going to change me for the rest of my life".
You would not think I am the person who I am if you saw a photo of me. I look normal, I wear a pin stripped suit to work. I am married with three beautiful children.
But....
Living a man's life where one is taught to be a "real man" is hard. You do not talk about your emotions and you do not talk about your problems, that is the way most boys are brought up. But what happens when you are a boy turning into a man and you hold terrible secrets? What if those secrets come and haunt you in your dreams? What if those secrets are that you were sexually abused as a young child? Worse still raped by a fully grown man? Here you are in a world of personal taument left alone to deal with your problems. Not being able to ask for help, dealing with it alone. What do you do? Hurt others? Turn to drugs? Or kill yourself? Yes I hurt other, yes I was addicted to herion and speed. Yes I wanted to kill myself. Problem after problem is what I have experienced, being bullied at school, not being able to fit in.
Oh listen to me, cry, cry, cry.
Do not worry I do not feel sorry for myself anymore, sure I have good days and bad days but I am happy! I have been clean for eight years and have a succesful business. More importantly I am living a healthy and loving life. Be brave and come for a journey, read my story and help me help others.
